Decoplas is a Plastics Consultancy operating in the Moulding sector
Owned and run by Phil Hopping who has been involved in the injection moulding world for more than 30 years, Phil and his team have been applying surface decoration to plastics for more than 15 years for a range of customers including, Motorola, Birkby’s, ROSTI, SonyEricsson, NEC, and Sony
Phil and his team have delivered successful IMD projects across the Technical and Packaging sectors and have experience in applying a range of moulding technologies, including injection Moulding and Injection Compression moulding, to thin wall IMD projects
Decoplas ‘mission’ is to add value to plastics products through the use of innovative surface decoration technologies
We seek opportunities to support businesses by helping them to reduce their costs of manufacture through the adoption of best practice, and by introducing the latest decoration technologies that will attract new customers and add value
Decoplas is also committed to developing new decorated products where surface decoration and customisation are the key differentiators.

Simple Business Model
Decoplas controls cost by employing only a hardcore of experienced senior engineers who are the first point of contact.
Before any project begins, cross functional project teams are formed from a combination of in-house engineers and other functional experts drawn from a network of partners
Decoplas brings together the appropriate material, print, toolmaking, automation and processing equipment supply partners from a global contact network and can deliver simple cost effective solutions or full ‘turnkey packages’ as required
In this way, our business model enables new products to be developed and commercialised quicker and with reduced cash burn
